Every voice, heard.
Every voice, on the record.
Use this page to send a question, comment, concern, or suggestion directly to the Board of Directors of Emmonak Corporation. Every submission is routed to the Chair and President & CEO, summarized by the Corporate Secretary into the monthly board package, and preserved verbatim in the corporate record so the Board can deliberate on your concern in context.
The path your message takes.
The form below
You complete the form on this page. Your submission is sent to leadership@emmonak.com and an immediate confirmation email is sent to you with the meeting cycle your submission will be addressed at.
Two-track cadence
- Submissions received on or before the last day of the prior month are summarized into the upcoming month’s board package and addressed at that month’s regular board meeting.
- Submissions received after that cutoff are acknowledged within five business days and rolled into the following month’s cycle. No submission is dropped.
On the agenda
Your submission appears in the agenda packet for the scheduled board meeting. The Corporate Secretary provides a brief summary so the Board can read efficiently, and your full message is attached so directors can read it verbatim if they choose.
You hear back
If you requested a response, you receive a written reply from the Board after the meeting at which your submission was addressed. Both your submission and the Board’s response are preserved in the corporate record together, so future Boards and shareholders have a complete account of how the corporation deliberated on your concern.
Written, deliberate, on the record.
Under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 (43 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq.), the Alaska Corporations Code (AS 10.06), and the controlling Bylaws of Emmonak Corporation, the Board of Directors manages the business and affairs of the corporation. Shareholders exercise their governance authority primarily by electing directors and through business properly brought before the annual shareholder meeting.
The corporation’s legal counsel reviewed the question of shareholder participation in regular board meetings and confirmed, by memorandum dated April 17, 2026, that neither Alaska law nor the Bylaws give shareholders a general right to attend regular board meetings or executive sessions. Because board meetings often address sensitive commercial, contract, personnel, and legal matters, the Board treats those meetings as executive sessions and conducts them in the disciplined, confidential setting those matters require.
The same legal guidance affirms that shareholders may — and should — communicate concerns to the Board through written communications, at the annual shareholder meeting, or at properly called special shareholder meetings. This page implements the written-communication channel with a defined cadence so every shareholder voice has a clear, dignified, and documented path to the board table.
Quyana. Your voice matters to this corporation, and a written record is how we make sure it is heard, considered, and answered with the care it deserves.
