Use the Shareholder Information Update form (SH-EMK-09) on the Shareholder Resources page. Address, phone, and email changes are processed promptly; name changes, transfers, and estate updates may require supporting documents collected securely by the Records Custodian.
Shares pass according to your Stock Will (SH-EMK-11) or, if none is on file, according to the ANCSA succession rules confirmed by an Inheritance Affidavit (SH-EMK-12). We strongly encourage every shareholder to file an up-to-date Stock Will — available on the Shareholder Resources page — signed before two adult witnesses and either notarized or postmarked.
ANCSA shares are subject to restrictions designed to keep ownership within the Native community. Transfers between living Alaska Natives under ANCSA § 7(h)(1)(C)(iii) are handled through the Inter Vivos Gift of Stock form (SH-EMK-13) available on the Shareholder Resources page.
