Serving on the board of an Alaska Native Corporation is real work and real responsibility — the kind that shapes whether this corporation still serves its people in another fifty years. Candidacy is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check and drug screening, and on acknowledgment that all board meetings are conducted in executive session and that minutes are not distributed to shareholders.
